Persimmon Tannin Dyed Cotton Thread

This thread is treated with a natural varnish that has been used as an antiseptic and waterproof coating in the Orient for thousands of years.  After being exposed to ultraviolet rays, oxidation, temperature and humidity, the thread gradually changes colors, each one more elegant.

 100% cotton hand dyed thread from Japan.  Available in 20 meter skeins.
